Going somewhere fancy? Hair up service is for special occasion hair that isn’t bridal related.

Hair up can include grips, pins, designed pins.
“ hair up” is a term used but can even be used for hair down. It is more than just a Blowdry as more methods, techniques, time and products will be all catered for you to achieve your picture perfect red carpet look.

All pins, buns, grips etc will be yours to keep and will not need returning. You are also welcome to bring your own designed grips along or hats.

For best consultations, please bring a picture of the hair you would like to have and if undecided then the dress you are wearing so your hair can be styled to what suits best for the occasion.

It is best reccomended to turn up to this appointment with washed hair that morning however this service can include a wash and Blowdry if time allows.

This is an appointment where we meet face to face and I have a look at your hair and find out your hairs history. Please bring at least 3 photos of your desired look and We will look at the look we are trying to achieve. We will colour match you with tones best suited to your undertone. We will discuss everything that you would like, your concerns and everything that you would not like. This service comes with a free compulsory allergy patch test which has to be done at least 48 hours prior your colour service and we may or may not do a free strand test depending of any drastic colour changes.
The price of your consultation is a non obligatory booking so the consultation is dedicated to the stylists time and advice so you will not need to make a booking after. All consultations are non refundable however you will be able to have £12 deducted from your first hair service! Your hair quote will also be mentioned during this appointment, the step by step process of what your appointment will be like and the time it will take and we can book your appointment together and your quote will not be changed once quoted.

The colour is usually root tint and refreshing the ends with either a toner, or a slight balayage lift up using a maximum of 15 large foils.

Olaplex No.1 & No.2 is applied after we wash and rinse the hair of colour. Then lastly we cut and blowdry.

This service is recomended if you have come to me more than 5 times and feel you need The full works! Not to change what you have but to renew it.

All allergy patch tests must be done at least 48 hours prior to your colour service. All allergy tests sone elsewhere are invalid unless performed by Bex or another person in salon using colour from Bexs colour range.

This service takes two minutes. A blob of colour is pos re behind the ear.

For strand tests: this service is only done for big colour changes. Often going lighter to see how your hair colour responds and lifts to bleach with olaplex. A few strands are cut from the inside back of your hair and Bex times & colours those strands and sends you your results via WhatsApp or Instagram DM. ( your preference)

Both these services are not consultations so no discussion of the hair service takes place.

On hair that is very thick or below the waist in length, Bex can Blowdry long and thick hair efficiently in 1 hour but this is for hair that is thicker than the average thickness and longer than the average long length that exceeds this, taking longer in time with extra tools needed such as straighteners or tongs after blowdrying also. Tape Extension Full Head Install Hair Included

This service includes not only the installation of the tape hair extension by Bex but also going to Bex to purchase the hair. Bex will do a consultation on you. This includes colour matching extensions to your hair. You will not be able to make colour adjustments to your real hair whilst awaiting the extension install after you have been colour matched. You will let Bex know the thickness and length you are after and Bex will contact her supplier. The cost of the hair varies between £100-£350 depending on thickness, length and shade. Once the hair is purchased that hair belongs to you completely and the money for the hair goes directly to the supplier and not to Bex. This is the most popular way of having hair extensions as you will be most guided by your stylist, Bex. Bex has worked closely with Simply Hair as Tape hair suppliers and understands that this human hair should last you up to a 8 months to 1 year if maintained in good condition.
